In late 2008, the company raised $37 million in its Series B round, bringing the total capital raised to $74.4 million. The investment, led by Energy Capital Partners, also provides for up to $150 million in project capital for the deployment of multiple utility-scale energy storage projects utilizing Ice Energy technology.
