Ice-Ready Rooftop Units

Ice-Ready units are standard, high-efficiency commercial rooftop packaged air conditioning units from leading HVAC manufacturers, optimized to work with the Ice Bear energy storage system in a plug-and-play fashion.

Available as a factory-option for select rooftop models in 4-20 ton capacities, Ice-Ready Rooftop units feature a dedicated, factory-designed and tested LiquidDX™ evaporator coil and a built-in Ice-Coil connection for maximum performance, simplified installation, and seamless connection with the Ice Bear system.

Ice-Ready models and pre-packaged Ice Coil Kits to retrofit existing rooftop units for operation with the Ice Bear system are available from today’s top HVAC manufacturers, including Carrier, Data-Aire, Lennox, Trane and York. These units have been tested to ensure they meet or exceed manufacturers specifications for air flow and cooling performance in both DX and Ice Cooling modes.
